Registered Clinical Counsellor

Based in Vancouver, BC, I am a registered clinical counsellor with over 20 years of experience providing therapy for anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship issues, and life transitions. My approach to counselling is trauma-informed, inclusive, and collaborative, helping clients build resilience and reconnect with their strengths.

Having lived in Brazil, South Korea, and Taiwan, I understand the challenges of cultural adjustment and belonging. These experiences inform my commitment to providing compassionate, culturally responsive counselling for diverse communities.

My background includes school counselling, community mental health, and over a decade with the Health Authority in Adult Mental Health & Addictions and Child & Youth Mental Health. I have specialized training in working with LGBTQ2S+, Indigenous, refugee, and immigrant populations,ADHD, and those affected by trauma.

I have 2 years advanced training (including practical supervision and case consultation) in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for anxiety and trauma, I’m an EMDR therapist, and trained in Gottman, with additional training in Attachment-Focused EMDR, ADHD, and trauma-informed care.

Outside of counselling, I’m passionate about animal rescue, art, music, and ocean swimming.
